We have over 29 SOD blends throughout the year. We will help you pick the best SOD blend for your front yard, back yard, park, golf course, and sporting arena!

ESTIMATE

We require estimates for all jobs that would like services such as Tear, Prep, Installation, and Irrigation. If you want our Estimator to come out to measure your lawn , we can do that for an additional price. Fees will be collected at time of booking. 

10 Miles from Headquarters – $20.00

ORDER:

We provide, “Sod that is never held in stock, always fresh from the farm” to your site Monday through Saturday,7 AM to 3 PM; Please call 925-435-7874  to place your order today.

All orders require:

  • A 200 ft² minimum requirement
  • A three-day advance notification 
  • Provide payment prior to the order being placed
  • Confirmation of yard drop off* or delivery
  • Compliance to our terms and conditions for sod orders

We understand that coordinating our delivery with your installation is crucial, however;

  • ** We can not promise exact sod delivery times, we are providing farm fresh sod!**
  • We will call one day before delivery to provide the approximate delivery time.
  • With the time provided we reserve the right to a 1~2 hour grace period.
  • All addendum to the order must be place prior to the scheduled delivery.

Delivery:

We can deliver to your home/site no problem, but if you can refer to the image above this

Deliveries are a standard $86 before tax as long as the area does not require a bob-tail.

If the street that you live on does require a bobtail the cost raises to $106

  • *The delivery will be curbside to your home
  • We can not step onto the property due to the property being private property

Tearing out the previous Lawn, Prepping the soil, and Installation.

Our full-service is known as TPI

We start by applying several grading and cleaning procedures to your previous lawn. This includes raking the lawn, removing the previous lawn, cleaning out the debris, and leveling and compressing the soil.  Then we prepare and amend the soil with a topsoil-compost blend with the amount needed of sod starter fertilizer. We then rototiller 6-8″ deep.

Once the soil is prepped we move on to installation.

The average lawn produces 1 yard of waste per 250 ft².

All dumping fees are included in the final step of preparation.*

Prepping the soil and Installation

Our half-service is known as PI

This includes leveling and compressing the soil.  Then we prepare and amend the soil with a topsoil-compost blend with the amount needed of sod starter fertilizer. As well the final conditioning of soil using our sod starter fertilizer blend with top soil grading. We then rototiller 6-8″ deep.

Once the soil is prepped we move on to installation.  You get to select your favorite sod from one of our 29 sods blends. We will then layout the sod.

Installation

For lawns that are already prepped and ready to go!!! We will come out and lay the sod .

  • Terraces- Ridgeside – Fine Fescue,NO MOW-Grows tall and gives appearance of meadows and can be used to mimic hillside look.
  • Borders- any sod can be used, depends on what your going for.
  • Fountains- Bolero- great for heavy foot traffic and wet/dry conditions and direct sun exposure.
  • Shrubbery
  • Benches- Delta Grassland Mix- slow growing, grows in partial shade and can tolerate full sun
  • Sod chairs-Bolero Plus- better density and has a faster wear recovery

Don’t worry, we also care about your animals too. Blueridge- Bluerye( non netted) is great for animals, tortoises or any other reptiles you might have. Don’t have to worry about them eating plastic, its soy-based!

Kurapia is another drought tolerant coverage that can be added to any lawn- can be used as full coverage or boarders around other sods or in between bricks or paving stones.

Worried about allergies?

Bio-filtration sod is mixture of course and fine blades that help filter out pollen’s, works great in areas that are surrounded by rivers, streams, lakes, hills or any place that has lots of wild life. Holds up well to full heat , reduces soil erosion and it recharges and purifies ground water.

Our sod company also provides seed deliveries. When you order from us we keep records meaning you will always be able to order more sod or seed assuring a perfect match.
